As a wedding and portrait photographer, I'd   describe my style as bright and vivid, with a focus on drawing out natural, candid moments between my subjects in gorgeous cinematic lighting. I love telling visual stories through lighting and natural interaction between my subjects. I am always learning how to manipulate whatever light is available, and help my subjects with direction and posing to make photos that look natural and effortless.

Some fun facts about me. . .

 

I have two degrees in journalism and graphic design, but pictures have always been my passion.

I am an artist at heart and still enjoy making pencil and graphite portraits when I can. I love a ton of other media including polymer clay, paint, wood, and glass. I am also a miniature artist and have an Etsy shop. If I had the attention span to be a full-time artist I probably would - still haven't quite ruled out that dream!

I am the proud owner of so many houseplants that my home has started to look a bit like the Rainforest Cafe.

I am also an avid travel photographer during the wedding off-season. I have traveled to more than 50 countries in the last 15 years. My favorite countries in the world are Iceland, India and Indonesia. In a different life I would have been a travel photographer and journalist, but life had other plans!
